Scheduler

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Linney Print within our Scheduling team. This team is responsible for the coordination and control of all resources within a busy manufacturing environment.

The suitable candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of manufacturing processes (lithographic and large format digital printing and finishing). Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a controlled manner are pre-requisites for this role.

Sales Executive

Senior Project Manager

Due to business growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join and strengthen our current team. You may currently be working client side or agency side at the moment, but that doesnt matter, we need someone who can deal with complex fast moving marketing initiatives in both the traditional areas of graphic design, and more importantly in the digital world.

A natural ability to direct and lead others to ensure end to end project delivery, whilst managing all aspects of the production process will be imperative. Youll have experience of working with people; that means briefing, estimating and efficiently managing internal and external studio and production resources.

Common sense, balanced with vision and initiative will help when working with brand, design and marketing; that, combined with excellent communication skills, will allow you to operate at all levels.

So in summary, whats the role? Put simply, youll be dealing with our clients and the teams here to ultimately ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget! How? By efficient client production processes, strong commercial understanding and an appreciation of how we can help our clients bring their brands to market, through the most appropriate and cost-efficient client marketing channels.

Retail Creative

We are now seeking creatives of an exceptional standard to join our dedicated team of 60 staff. With a number of new high street retail clients, Linney Design requires passionate and ambitious 'Creatives' that can demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following:

  • Interior Design
  • Spatial Design
  • Graphic Design

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver creative concepts, presentations and design to a very high standard in line with industry and business expectations.
  • Motivate, manage and achieve best results from designers and colleagues.
  • Conceptualise and develop ideas from sketch through to finished artwork when absolutely necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of new and existing accounts particularly within the retail sector. Through creative direction of projects, innovation and idea generation.
  • Meet agreed deadlines.
  • Take client briefs, interpret correctly and translate back to design team in addition to objectively critiquing designs and constructing feedback.
  • Art-direct photographers/illustrators effectively to achieve desired results.
  • Contribute to and perform as an effective and willing member of our creative team.

Account Director

We are currently working with some fast-moving clients and are looking for someone to join and strengthen our strategic and creative business development team.

You will have proven experience of brand or product marketing, gained from either client or agency side, with a genuine ability to deliver integrated marketing plans across a wide spectrum of on and off line marketing channels.

To aid our sales proposition you’ll have a natural ability to truly understand our clients’ markets and the day-to-day dilemmas they face when getting their brand to market. Commercial acumen and knowledge of brand and marketing is a must, combined with excellent communication skills allowing you to operate at boardroom level.

So, what’s the role? Put simply, you’ll be helping our clients sell more! How? 3D Multimedia Artist

Linney Design is currently accepting applications from talented and experienced 3D/Multimedia artists. Providing a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, this particular opportunity really focuses on our expansion in photorealistic 3D visualisation. You must display a real passion for 3D, its use in print and film, and its relevance to today’s media production. This is not an easy role, standards are high and the work is wide ranging and varied. A talent for both modelling and lighting is required, and extra skills in post production and working with moving images are of benefit. Our main 3D package is 3DStudio, with Vray and so experience of these is essential. Some on the job training of course will be given, but we’re also looking for outside experience to spread new knowledge to the team. Keen, informed and talented applicants welcome!

Senior Digital Creative

Working with some of the largest brands in the UK requires not only designing to the highest standard but also advising and consulting at a senior client level. Web/Flash Designer

Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the Linney Group as an Account Manager working with many of our well known high street and branded clients.

Whilst being based from our head office in Nottinghamshire, your role would be to provide support for the current print management account teams already in place throughout the South-East of England, largely in the London area.

Project Manager: Linney Connect

Linney Group Project Manager: Linney Connect

We're also looking to expand our Project Management team further to continue improving the support and service we offer our clients.

Working with the Linney Group and its clients' Management Information Systems, you will be responsible for processing, administrating, and expediting projects and campaigns for our customers, using Linney Group companies and its outwork partners.You are likely to have daily customer contact. Some of the skills required are general project management skills, excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail.

The Project Management role we’re looking to fill at Linney Connect is on the print management side of the business.

This role also has the potential to allow the right person to continue their career development by moving into Account Management. In the past, some successful Project Managers have moved into an increasing client focused role, generally working directly with the customer at our customer's head offices, often in the Greater London area.

We’re looking to expand the Procurement team at Linney Group in order to develop the support of our satellite companies - Linney Design, Print, Direct, and Connect.

We are open to seeing people at differing stages in their purchasing careers, with varying degrees of experience and qualifications.

Procurement within the Linney Group includes both strategic sourcing and management of both products and services, as well as day-to-day administration and expediting.

Print/Media industry knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.

Estimator

We are currently seeking an experienced Print Estimator to join our estimating team and support the Sales team win desirable business.

As part of a small friendly team, you will be required to provide timely, innovative and accurate quotations covering B1 sheet-fed, direct mail and POS functions within the business. There is also a degree of involvement within the procurement function.

You should have a minimum of two years experience in a print estimating role. You will need to show a high degree of accuracy with the ability and will "to deliver on time" in order to achieve and ultimately exceed our customers' high expectations/requirements.

You should be self motivated, have excellent communication skills and ultimately be a team player. Knowledge of the Prism MIS would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
